Evenings with Flowers: Tetrapak

On a summer’s evening, slow down, look closely, and experiment with botanically inspired printmaking in a relaxed environment at our studio alongside Castlegate's Grey to Green.

This workshop invites you to notice the shifting shapes, colours, and rhythms of the flowers as the light changes. Through guided observation, you’ll explore simple ways of documenting what you see, tuning into the details that often go unnoticed in everyday life.

From this shared act of looking, we move into making, introducing playful, accessible printmaking techniques that translate your observations into a series of visual experiments.

Working alongside others, the workshop becomes a space for collective exploration. By the end of the evening, you’ll leave with a collection of prints capturing botanical forms through line, shape, and layered mark-making; a record of both your personal experience and the collective moment of making together.

This workshop is focused on Tetrapak printing, a sustainable technique repurposing waste materials to create unique prints. Each of the four evening sessions offers a slightly different focus. You’re welcome to attend one session as a stand-alone experience, or join multiple evenings to deepen your exploration over time. No prior printmaking experience is required.
