In this workshop, you will explore and develop your skills in intaglio drypoint printing.

Working with a Perspex plate, you will trace your own design and use specialised intaglio tools to experiment applying a variety of mark-making techniques, exploring both line and tone.

You will learn how to ink and print your plate using a traditional printing press. In addition, you will incorporate colour into your prints through hand-colouring and by preparing and applying pre-glued Japanese tissue paper using the chine-collé technique.
